The characters are all over the place, most of the story is "filler" and the plot leaves much to be desired. To me it just seemed like the author did fairly well with the first book (I enjoyed it) and tried (poorly) to pull off a second from the momentum. Granted, Ultraviolet is a YA book so the writing isn't too deep or complex but this.? Ugh! I was trying to figure out what the point of the book was. I am honestly surprised that the 2 books were written by the same author. There are flashbacks from the Ultraviolet that seem off in left field. This is its own story written from Tori's perspective and very poorly written. Review 1: When I saw there was a Book 2 to Ultraviolet I thought it was a continuation of the Alison/Sabastian/Tori story.
